This shows that it was possible though, as if Pulis/Megson is a more attractive proposition for the likes of him or Gibbs.

We 100% will not sign another central midfielder, where would King or James fit, Shakespeare won't buy someone to take their place and if the club do they won't get a look in (Iborra)

Don't worry all our transfers will be done on deadline day, what a joke every transfer window is a panic buy for the club. It's so frustrating.

If Townsend is spotted in Morrisons please give him directions to WBA.

Think this guy is too slow to play our high pressing style or in a midfield two. We already have iborra to be the physical spare man if need be.

Been reading this forum since there's been an interest in signing Krychowiak. His sprint with Messi 2015 was registered at 34.82km / h. You can compare that with fastest sprints by Neymar 34,2 km / h, Ronaldo 33.6 km / h or Messi 33.2 km / h.

Bloody Shakespeare not playing the injured Iborra, disgrace.

Seems to me that we've never been in for him. Which is good as we don't need a cdm.

Will say time and time again. Particularly for foreign lads they won't give two hoots whose manager.

Get the impression his agent doesn't want him to come to us as we are playing hardball with Chelsea over Drinkwater and they both have the same agent

Surely if they have the same agent then he would try and push him towards City so we can offload Drinky. He also makes double the agent fees then.

We'll only want this guy if Drinkwater goes I would imagine.

His agent probably knows how unlikely Drinkwater moving is now.

But surely it would make the Drinkwater deal easier if we had a suitable replacement lined up?

Bottom line is though it appears we want £40m for Drinkwater and Chelsea want to pay £23m + £2m add ons which means unless one side caves in this won't be happening.
