SouthStandUpperTier Posted 9 October 2017 Author Posted 9 October 2017 Alan Curbishley. Did he retire?Last I remember he had some kind of DoF-type job at Fulham. Don't know if that's still the case.
SouthStandUpperTier Posted 9 October 2017 Author Posted 9 October 2017 Andy Thorn. Cov manager when we beat them 1-0 on opening day Always appeared to be sweating profusely in his post match interviews.
SouthStandUpperTier Posted 9 October 2017 Author Posted 9 October 2017 Oh, and Tim Sherwood after we broke his spirit.
CosbehFox Posted 9 October 2017 Posted 9 October 2017 I was reading the other day that Lawrie Sanchez went to manage in Greece and was loved by the fans of the club he was at. They went down in the last game and by a point. It's impressive that a non Greek speaker could take a team from the Greek Second Division and make them competitive at the next level.

Lestoh1 Posted 9 October 2017 Posted 9 October 2017 Henning Berg too. Came to blackburn had a terrible run for about 8 games and ditched
Corky Posted 9 October 2017 Posted 9 October 2017 Frank Burrows. Left us when Holloway joined and hasn't appeared in football since, it seems. His Wiki page states as much.

SouthStandUpperTier Posted 9 October 2017 Author Posted 9 October 2017 Bobby Charlton also had a go and failed.Quite a few ex-United players this applies to. Gary Neville, Paul Ince, Mike Phelan. Bryan Robson had a semblance of success early on at Boro, then it went downhill fast.
StanSP Posted 9 October 2017 Posted 9 October 2017 Steve McClaren. All went a bit titsh up after the FC Twente spell.
