davieG Posted 18 October 2017 Posted 18 October 2017 Don Revie missed the 1949 cup final through injury and left just after that I believe. So could be to do with the '49 cup final qualifying squad.

I googled it........ 1949 cup final squad with Jonny Duncan as manager (is he still available?)...... bit of trivia he was the manager who brought Revie to LCFC. Revie married his niece Elsie not sure if that was before or after he came cause I wasn't born for another 30 years so what do I know
