It’s your fault there’s a crap atmosphere They could actively support Safe Standing. Until that comes in they could designate a singing section. Though I do agree that responsiblity is on the fans to engage. We shouldn't use the club's inaction as a blanket excuse.

The moaners already have a singing section, they even have a tambourine up there to bang badly, yet they still complain about atmosphere. Any chance that group get to have a pop at the club they do, take bamba up above, moaning that they still put clappers out, another FS member moaning on another thread about banners taken down by stewards, well what did they expect with what they put on it.(banner was a long time ago but post was today or yesterday) Then another FS member last night banging on about their mighty food bank and how the club should now look at it, why? The club is no charity, if they want to feed the down and out druggies and knuckle draggers of society, crack on with it but don’t try and involve everyone else.

Union FS have the commendable feature that they do actually take responsibility for trying to improve the atmosphere. If more did as they do - not necessarily join them btw - we'd have a much better atmosphere at home games.
Monsell1976 Posted 13 January 2019 Posted 13 January 2019 We have proved we can create serious noise, the only thing that’s changed is we are not as exciting to watch anymore. It’s been discussed before what happens on the pitch has a massive influence on the atmosphere. The atmosphere reflects the current state of where we are, very comfortable( mid table), flat, and boring, nothing to get up for.
Hollyfox Posted 13 January 2019 Posted 13 January 2019 I sit in the Kop and thought there was a fair bit of noise from the Fosse boys and across the back of sk2,3&4 at the start. Once again , the teams ability to implode and generally clueless play, took the enthusiasm out of most of our fans, so it died down fairly quickly.

The best way to improve the atmosphere is to play exciting football and to allow beer on the terraces, a product that u22s don’t indulge in anymore.

I can hear a big fvckin drum, but I can’t hear what they’re actually singing.

Mark 'expert' Lawrenson Posted 13 January 2019 Posted 13 January 2019 Noise and atmosphere goes hand in hand with what happens on the pitch, too many spells of dull football and it’s difficult to get excited.

The stifling football we play has killed the atmosphere stone dead
FoxesDeb Posted 13 January 2019 Posted 13 January 2019 Why does the support from us have to rely on what we see? What happened to the roar we used to hear when we went behind? There's very little else we can do as supporters other than get behind the team whatever is happening on the pitch. I thought we were supposed to be the twelfth man.
Hollyfox Posted 13 January 2019 Posted 13 January 2019 Another one that gets me is why fans suddenly make a bit of noise when the added minutes board is raised. They do very little between 80-90 minutes , then get behind the team ( a bit) for the extra 4 or 5 added minutes ??

Ted Maul Posted 14 January 2019 Posted 14 January 2019 Noncey jazzed-up PHG, a child sat next to me hitting his clapper to no particular rhythm for the entire match, very little singing, then booing and a few gammons trying to get 'Puel out' going at the final whistle- bad day at the office for atmosphere.
