It’s not a coincidence, the only reason I was there was because of foxestalk 😂. Will give a full review tomorrow- but it was fantastic. Foxestalk reliable as ever!

'10 Hours in L.A.' from Round Corner Brewing, which is branded as a Pacific pale ale renowned for its 'citrusy hop flavours'. Wouldn't disagree.

The first of a few bottles of Weihenstephaner. I like my Franziskaner and Paulaner but this is my favourite choice of supermarket weissbier. Sainsburys have upped the price yet again though.

Yeah Lewes was great. Went round the Norman castle and old priory and then stopped off at the John Harvey Tavern for a few. The Armada Ale was the freshest beer I've ever had, reminded me of the Adnams tour where they let you try the beer straight from the brewery. Also went to the Gardeners Arms just round the corner which was also excellent and stopped off at the Lansdown by the station which was decent. There's two micro breweries (Abyss and Beak) and some other good pubs in the town. Definitely one of the best place to drink in the country due to to the beer/pubs/and vibe. Up there with Southwold and York for me.

 

Will certainly be eyeing up Brighton away if we ever play them again!

Had a plum porter in Harkers Arms in Chester. Didn't catch the brewer but apparently from a quick search it is by Facers.

 

Do not be tricked, this imitation does not hold a candle to the Titanic's OG Plum Porter!!! Avoid.

Finally made it to the Wenlock Arms - what a boozer!

Got the rattler to Duffield last weekend, startlingly close to Derby. King William, Dead Poet’s Inn and the Holly Bush are a fantastic trio. 
 

Holly Bush is a 9.5/10.
