Fly to Berlin Wednesday AM for System of a Down any recommendations for beers before hand or the day after as we have a day in Berlin on the Thursday.

'Clash" I thought was great.

Junction bar has Fiege in if you want your fix of that again. Both really close to each other.

Vogt's Bierexpress. Let you take in food from the really popular currywurst and kebab stands nearby, as long as you buy a pint.

Anyone know if the Stags Head in London is still a Leicester matchday pub? 

 

Might be down there for my birthday on August bank hol and thought it'd be a good one to try out for the MK Dons game.

Had a few in London yesterday. Met a mate in the King Charles which is so reliably fantastic, then onto Hoxton.

 

Howl at the Moon wasn’t to my taste, reminiscent of an Irish pub abroad and there was a schizo local pacing outside which was off putting. King William IV - great beer (Augustiner on tap) and food but dunno not very captivating. The Wenlock was fantastic, some Burton Bridge golden went down very well.

Went to BST at Hyde Park a couple of weeks ago and had a couple of pints of Peroni Zero on Draught.
 

Gorgeously hot day and it was a very nice drink.

I live down the road and had no idea there was even a pub in Seagrave. Sounds like it could be decent though

Drove through Congleton and Leek earlier. Both gave me the sense of being reasonable little towns for a swig.

 

Shame they're too far to justify a day out.

I didn’t find it great but it’s worth a look if you’ve got time. Go to the top and have a quick half.

i went to French house and de hems in soho after 5+ years the other weekend, forgot how good those pubs are

Kilpin, newish place and the interior is fine for what is is, not a cookie cutter craft bar but it's superb for the choice of beer 

Canal House, a staple but it's superb 

Falcon Inn at Canning Circus, it's like if Wyggeston House was an old man boozer 

King William IV, another Castle Rock but it's like something out of Kelham Island 

Then I guess Ye Olde Trip to Jerusalem if you've never been/haven't been for a while 

 

Edit: A lot of the Castel Rock pubs are interchangeable really, all pretty good so Kean's Head (does stink of curry), Newshouse, Vat & Fiddle, another near the arena all do the same beer.

 

In the evening the Bath Inn is a cracker, it's wall to wall with art deco trinkets.
