It's not moaning. I don't agree with everything the owners do, that's all.

Fireworks for a chairmans birthday? Give over.

Not everybody agrees with everything the club does ffs.

No one is expected to agree with everything the club does.

It's the total disrespect that some have given. Comments like

"I hope the new seats are gold and moulded in the shape of Vichai's face"

Or is that type of comment acceptable?

Moaning about moaning. Oh, the irony.

He was merely commenting on the incessant moaning of others. How is that moaning?

That sort of thing isn't acceptable but there's much worse thrown about at people who have done much more for the club. IE Pearson and some of the players that helped us actually win the top flight.

I got snagged on this the other day too - I'm not sure anyone is being too serious about the irony, but yes, there is a distinction.

So the owners funding promotion writing off £100m had nothing to do with promotion and the prem title.

Committing £80m to the new training ground and god knows how much they will spend developing the ground.

I had to do it ? the amount of negative comments I’ve seen the past few days from free beers to the expansion you could give every one a free season ticket on here and people will still moan.

People from Leicester are a naturally miserable bunch. Especially blokes of a certain era. My Dad thinks it's because as a city our main industry was hoisery were blokes were paid per item they produced so any talking and cheeryness was frowned upon as it got in the way of earning money. Where's a city like Sheffield whose industry was steel had blokes working in teams so as a city it's more friendly and upbeat.

That's genuinely interesting - I'm Leicester born and bred, but from the edge of the city limits (Oadby, and right down the Great Glen end), and my parents weren't natives. So maybe our area is/was untypical.

Blokes of a certain era though...well, there's a very good national sociological study to be done there.

I'm not saying you did but I think your missing my point. Promotion and the title were are a team effort. But the team is a whole lot more than 11 players and Pearson.

Had the owners not done there part we would not have had Drinky, Vardy, and Mahrez to mention three.

Wtf? Why do you have a say about what the owner does with his money at his club?
