My dad will be happy, he has my ticket to every game as I won't go while Puel is in charge, I'm not giving up 2 or 3 hours to watch a game where Puel is in charge.

We’ve exactly the same for the last 6 weeks.

Boycotting the K P until he ****s off.

Why fingers crossed?

If they go back on their word then it'll mean we're showing more signs of regression. How can anyone call themselves a Leicester fan if that's what they want?

I want Claude Puel to succeed and to win trophy after trophy here. Surely everyone on here does?

I don’t know whether you have noticed.....

he's ****ing useless.

I believe we lose the players we don’t want to over the summer if Puel stays.

Mark my words.

I'd rather not, given that you've never said anything positive about the team I love.

It depends what they actually want in a manager.

If they want someone who wants to change the style of the club, then go and bring someone to do it, but then sack him anyway, then what do they want? a manager to do the same as the previous manager but not be the previous manager?

Just seems so obvious that one day in the not too distant future, the whole thing is going to fall apart, Wes Morgan and Danny Simpson will still be in the team, and we will be relegated with 18 points.

I think the owners are looking for a manager with the conviction to change things.

Its clear we need a change. Personnel, style of play, tactics etc. But change is a difficult thing for people to handle and will only happen if the people required to change have confidence in the people making changes. Change requires believe, knowledge, character and communication. I think Puel has the first two qualities but not so much the second two. Would you be inspired to believe in change with Puel as your boss? We don't know what he's like behind closed doors but his mannerisms on the touchline during games isn't one of dynamism and to me doesn't get the response he needs to initiate change during 90 minutes let alone over the course of a season. You can only initiate change when people are willing and able. Clearly, presently our squad are neither so therefore you have to slow down your quest for change until you have the right personnel in place to make it work. His style of play should have been more precedent at the start of next season with new players in who can do what he's asking. No good manager would ask Danny Simpson to play as an attacking full back and no good manager would as Wes Morgan to be a ball playing defender. This is not the sign of good management.

Big Sam can positively change a football club in a short space of time. Rafa too. Whether either of these would ever consider us is another thing but we need a PROVEN manager who has done what we need in the past. Puel won't be the man to succeed I am sure of it.

Erm....you are wrong.

Ill quickly summarise for you.

Pearson great job at building the club, entertained by his shenanigans but tactically not the best.

Love Ranieri.

Shakey - no good.

Puel - awful - not got a cat in hells chance of making it work here.

How do you know that?

He wasn't given the chance to get players that suit him at Southampton and he definitely hasn't been given the chance here.

He had Nice playing superb football so lets just wait and see.

Superb football? For two out of four years. In a league different to ours and in a country he calls home.

Nice 15/16 were superb to watch.

Would have been the European under dog of the season had we not won the league.

It maybe the dreaded vote of confidence, but to me that suggests he at least gets until the end of the season and if we beat West Ham, probably 10-15 games into next season too.

I think it could cost us not acting sooner but if he stays then I'll accept it and give him the window and 10 games of next season to see if he can improve us.

Exactly my thoughts when our worst manager ever was in charge: mr. We-can-pass-the-ball-forever-just-like -Barcelona (Paulo Sousa) - won one game in nine championship matches!

Actually (if possible) worse than mr. Lets-try-to-totally-destroy-a-top-half-of-the-premier-league-club (Peter Taylor).

God, we can't half find them!

Puel worse than Taylor?

Fvck right off.

If he stayed here long enough he could well be, Taylor had a decent first season until Wycombe. Finishing a season this badly is a recipe for disaster

I wouldn't be at all surprised if tomorrow was more of a Southampton 4-1 performance rather than the recent stuff.

I've backed him all along, I was annoyed by his refusal to acknowledge the fans at the weekend and that made me sway slightly.

But if the owners are backing him then that's a sign to me that this summer is going to be a massive overhaul!

Sacking and replacing now could lead to the same group getting another season. Sticking with Puel could result in 8 to 10 leaving and the same amount coming in, allowing him to build whatever his initial proposal that wowed the board was!

It might be difficult for a season or two, put we need to change otherwise we will eventually get relegated or completely left behind in the Prem.

Good that they've made their intentions clear.

We can only back him as fans now. Let him have the summer, let him get his players in and then lets judge in October/November.

Yes, when we are in the relegation shit. October it is then.

As we've seen in the past, the owners have respect but not a lot of patience...if we get stuffed tomorrow can't see us beating Spuds or even a poor Arsenole team....he'll get the boot..

People bringing out the Ranieri vote of confidence... we were 17th at the time - 2 points from bottom.

I have a feeling this vote of confidence is actually genuine.

And I have a feeling the vote is a giant -------------------------------------

by that reckoning, Shakespeare could be regarded as like Taylor or 'worse' given that he had a decent start to his caretaker reign, ended the season badly, and at the time of his sacking, we were only 1 (or 2) points above relegation. Yet I don't see hime getting the the same treatment as Puel?

Puel gets us away from the poor position we were in with Shakespeare and he gets labelled as worse than Taylor? Not a fvcking chance.

There's more wrong at the club than just Puel right now and that's higher up in the heirarchy. And maybe even in some of the players too. Not saying Puel is perfect but some of the fans who want him out barely even gave him a chance when he was announced so he had already lost that battle with them.

To be criticised to the point (now, not what might happen) where he's labelled as worse than Taylor is so far off the mark. Ridiculous and wild statement to make.

Sorry - meant Sousa was worse than Taylor!

Puel has still got some way to go to be as bad as these two.

.....on the right tracks, though!

Pretty much confirmed it, bad end to season was close to relegation so got the boot

yet people want Puel gone now even though we've not been close to relegation since he arrived i.e. he's improved us in the league (well aware performances could be improved). And he's had to deal with players who find it difficult to change the way they're used to playing, as well as big egos thinking they have more power, injuries, suspensions etc. I'm confident (gut instinct maybe) that if he is able to get his own players in and work with players he is more comfortable with, we still won't be near relegation next season either.
