Does anyone know if the players do their lap of honour today?

If so, i hope our fans will forget their thoughts on the levels of our current 1st 11 and some of this season's performances and give the players a decent send off.

Some of them will probably move on in the summer but we shouldn't forget the achievements of this squad, during the past few years.

I just hope they're not going to be walking round an empty stadium - the likes of Huth etc deserve better than that.

Cheers

It could be a bit nasty if we perform at even our usual rate, if the players go on holiday, jeez:sweating:

Either we get to see a one off startling performance of late:scarf: or it will be news worthy for different reasons :thumbdown::jawdrop::surrender:

Apparently they are doing a lap of honour.

It's never like what it used to be anyway because they wait an hour to get half their family on the pitch before walking around. Can't see myself stopping to watch them this season.

won't it be against Arsenal?

I'd have thought they'd do it today.

Wednesday night and people need to get home for work the next day etc.

Don't know for sure though.

well its a lap of thanks they are calling it or something now,

as stated, I cant see there being many there if we turn in a utter shambles of a performances, then having to wait for ages after the game for some half hearted thanks

Would've thought the Arsenal game on Wednesday would involve the lap of honour.

yeah, let's only be there for the team when things are going well!

fvck them when they don't perform.

so much for being a fan through thick and thin, highs and lows...

Not really is it, I was there the season we played Oxford to stay up, I was there the day we lost to Stoke, I was their when we went into administration.

Am a fan, whether we are League One, championship or premier league.

The players have my support, but I don't think they need a pat on the back for performing poorly whilst picking up wage in the thousands.

I'm just not up for celebrating failure, celebrating failure is a very English, which is why we're are average at international sport.

This.

Just like the argument about not getting behind the players when they play bad. As I've said before they don't need us when 4/5 up. But they do when 2/3 down.

I seem to remember a hammering at St James's. Newcastle fans after commenting how great our fans where for making as much noise as they did.

Its not like they've been fighting valiantly against the odds or performing well above expectations.

Fair play if you can appreciate and applaud that but I can definitely see why plenty people would feel weird about applauding them this year

A few years ago, finishing around 10th in the prem would have been a dream season.

Leeds, Sheffield clubs and our very dear Midland neighbours, would have loved a bit of what we've had.

I also think it's an acknowledgement from the players to us as well.

30,000 should just be there to show their love for Vardy - be gutted when he goes.

Yeah Vardy is top notch.

I do think it’s a very real possibility that if Puel isn’t given the bullet and is at the helm over the summer, Vardy will be tempted away for a swan song before he’s past it.

I assume the lap of honour will start really slowly, go a bit sideways and then be a mad dash for the final straight

It's not about not be behind the team or not backing them, when they are playing or after a performance.

It's a about not celebrating failure, we love failure in England, Eddie the Eagle, Tim Henman, semi final in a world cup, open top bus tour for losing!

The reason England are poor at so many international sports is because of mentality.

Why breed a culture were average is celebrated, surly you want player hungry to achieve to be lorded.....

We have shouted, clapped and sang for 38 league game, isn't that enough?

Not sure why you keep saying its about celebrating failure. It's about saying Thank you and possible good byes.

Do players like Huth Wes Mahrez not deserve a good bye.

So your blaming the players for being poor. So puel does not deserve the sack then.

What camp are you in or you just sitting on that fence.

So and has has happened at our place in the past and other clubs to doing a lap after relegation is celebrating.

Do you not see a large part of it is players saying THANK YOU to the fans.

No Puel goes for me, and a few of the playing squad.

For me Puel has sacked himself with his lack of foresight, that a slow evulation to a new style was required rather than a revolution, a good coach get the most out of his resources.

Most will be gone by final whistle. Who wants to see Mrs vardy dragging her punched lasagnia around the stadium.

We had a chance of finishing in a Europa League place (With the possibility of a 6th place finish), and of winning one of the cups. However the Defensive Dullard ruined this.
