As a season ticket holder For over 25 years, I’ve witnessed many highs and lows over the years. Today however, was one of my personal all time lows.

When West Ham scored their 2nd goal, there were a few chants of “Puel out” and “you don’t know what your doing.” Admittedly I was frustrated and I echoed these chants, which as a paying customer were all entitled to do so.

However, I’m sat in C2 and it got rather unsavioury when they scored their second. Some mindless idiot, who was sat with his wife stood up and for a good 45 seconds abused a couple 2 rows behind. The poor couple looked very threatened by this individual who was rather intimidating (6 foot/ 20 stone plus) he was swearing in their faces and telling them in simple terms to keep their opinions to themselves.

Did anyone else witness this and what’s everyone else’s views on people airing negative thoughts in the ground?

I think as fans, our true peak was that bloke who ran onto the pitch when we were 3-0 down against Villa, and tried to throw their season ticket at Ian Walker, before Walker punched them to the ground. We lost 5-0.

That was a crazy afternoon. There were some leaflets or card placed on all the seats before the game that turned into 30,000 missiles by the time the 5th went in.

I'd already left by the 4th goal. That's the second and last time I've walked out of a match early. (other time was Leeds in the cup. 6-0 at Filbert Street)

I seat by the corner of c2 and sk4. I think I know the guy you're talking about... seemed especially heated yday after first goal than he usually is. Reckon he'd had a few. There was a whu old chap sitting behind him who kept celebrating each goal but he was more bothered with some couple. Just verbals tbh but not seen that in a long time.

There was a proper running battle on the train tracks in Harborough Last night apparently Luton and West Ham Nuckle heads were actually on the train line kicking lumps out of each other

and another riot broke out on a train on the midland service and that also stopped in Harborough to eject them

Train services were cancelled and severely delayed

Something happened with a west ham bus on raw dykes road too. Usual banging on windows, coach stopped and fans trying to get on/off. Few police there.

I always hate it when the fans turn against the team/ manager…. I didn’t enjoy it at all yesterday and would never join in the chanting….

I’m surrounded by a nice group on SK4, many of whom I shake hands with at the start….   Over passionate fans can be a pain the arse to sit next too…. We all have different opinions, as is made clear by this forum!!!!

Some people on twitter said there were LCFC fans involved too but of course Luton were away at Notts County yesterday.

Could see and hear the bloke in the black stone island shirt and the older woman shouting at each other in L1 from our seats in K1! Stayed until full time and don’t boo my team, but couldn’t face the lap of honour, went to the chip shop instead!

It’s always gonna happen. People have different thresholds and tolerances and priorities when it comes to frustration levels and what’s important. If you are however going to be verbally loud comedy genius’ or especially vocal in your negativity, I do think it helps to be able to stand up for yourself. And everybody has the right to say their piece but when it begins to impact on the atmosphere and others attempting to enjoy the game around you - then expect to be called on it.

Most negative I've heard in ten years.

But according to Martin Keown and other "experts", everyone should shut up and not have short memories .

shame those "experts" dont watch us every single week, they only see the highlights and such,so they dont get the whole picture of it all

always seems to be the case though, it was the same with CR tbh,

Tbh I haven't heard "you don't know what you're doing" for a long time. Ranieri, Shakespeare and Pearson never suffered stuff like that. But the players don't look like they're bothered or motivated at all. At least when Pearson was here and we were bottom, the players were at least showing fight and there were certain games where we were just unlucky.

GIVEN we got smashed 5-0 last week I was impressed with the initially positive backing the team got yesterday. AS Each minute passed I could sensed people getting more And more frustrated. Although some stuff near the end was  distasteful to me, everyone did see, to turn up wanting us to do well. The performance was just so poor, yet again. Final straw for me. THis will never work.
