urban.spaceman Posted 23 May 2018 Posted 23 May 2018 I don't think we need a left back. Chilwell is still young and despite the flak he gets on here, is very capable at LB as well as decent going forward. Loads of time for him to develop. 2

I wouldn’t say he’s a full on full back but he is comfortable there as well as other positions. Hope he’s not frozen out of the squad because he can be a really important player for us imo. Amartey was incredibly unlucky to have got injured just as he was coming good and, with other injuries in the squad, would probably have had the opportunity to prove himself. Does anyone know what anything about his condition?

I am a bit nervous about chilwell but so many full backs seem to be forward thinking first and defending second these days ....... the 2 holding midfielders compensate. Sorry , OT ......
