Where you wished you had kept your mouth shut.

 

Ok mine.

Tonight. He looks older to me.

"how old are you"

"50"

"feck off"

I'm 52. So two young girls 18/19 I asked who do you thinks older.

 

Both said him happy n walk away.

he carries on (pestering them)

The comes over saying "I think we've pulled"

 

You would have thought they offered him out for some.

 

Got rid of him went to apologize that cost me two drinks.

 

but what was nothing more than banter. Why did I open my mouth.

Got drunk with a guy who he doesn't know. They asked 2 young girls who look older (sylo or the gooner). The 2 girls said the gooner, so the other guy took it as a compliment and tried to get with the girls. sylo felt responsible and offered the 2 girls a drink and an apology. 

 

Long story short, he got drunk and did what drunk people do.

I meant pissed as in "you had too much to drink ".

 

Don't be, man. It was just a night out and with alcohol involved you are bound to do/say something out of character. and add a guy that you don't really know in the mix and it's gonna take a bad turn. The comment wasn't really that silly, it's the after effect of said comment that made you feel uncomfortable (and yeah, the other guy who acted like a moron). It wasn't your fault that a guy was hitting on 18-year-old girls because you asked an innocent question.

 

Just sleep it off and tomorrow you will wake up with a funny story to tell. It already happened and you can't change the past so why feel guilty or embarrassed about it?

Never underestimate people's ability to kid themselves on. I've seen similar stuff myself.
