Do you use player instructions? I could never play with 3 at the back. Do you have different formations set up that you can switch to in game? If I’ve just scored or I want to see out a game, I have 451 ready to switch to with everyone coming back to defend apart from the striker.

foxfanazer Posted 9 November 2018 Posted 9 November 2018 Apologies for the dodgy pic but this is my team. What would you lot be looking to improve on? Gonna have to be a gradual thing as I’ve not got a lot of coins left. Full backs are probably the ones that could be improved on eventually

If I’ve just scored or I want to see out a game, I have 451 ready to switch to with everyone coming back to defend apart from the striker. everything is default. i switch from balanced to defence or attack when i need to, usually do ok. honestly i think a lot of it is me playing worse because its weekend league, that and getting rinsed by reus on the counter. main problem is when im attacking, its possession based, the midfield push up a lot and when i lose possession , they are vs the back 3 instantly.

Set one of the midfielders to stay back when attacking, maybe look at getting a more defensive minded CM for this. I have my full backs stay back and a CDM so I’m less likely to be countered.

Over the moon with that! Currently 6-2 in the wl aswel which I'll take. And np with the peno tip. Usually if you don't see the head move they are either going straight down the middle or aim during the run up in which case they know what they're doing

I chatted with an EA advisor and their response was "make it 7 of 7 and try again! WTF?"

You can only get that one by winning ten Division Rivals matches with a Bundesliga player scoring in the next six days, winning each match in the process.
spacemunky Posted 10 November 2018 Posted 10 November 2018 I think i got over my opening jitters. After losing 4 of my first 5, I won 4 of the next 5. Happy with day 1. Definelty tougher for me than div 6 in Rivals. Vardy my top scorer so far with 5 goals.
Lcfc-1992 Posted 10 November 2018 Posted 10 November 2018 8-1. Easiest start I’ve had, I’m sure the harder games will come. Loving Kante, glad I decided to sell de Bruyne and get him. Chilwell with a shadow card has made a difference too, especially when most teams have POTM Lucas.

Lcfclad2013 Posted 10 November 2018 Posted 10 November 2018 Weekend league is slower 100% the difference from playing weekend league on Sunday then rivals on Monday is noticeable. What are we all aiming for this weekend? I'm going to see if I can get 17+ wins this weekend, always find some games where I lose by a goal and it could of gone either way. Hoping Hagi can make all the difference.
