On a brighter note I've found a way of making weekend league much quicker for myself, ultra attacking from the start, either winning 3-0 by half time and the opponent rage quits or I'm getting hammered that badly I'll just quit and move onto the next. Won my last 5

Heh, my "attacking" is the same as my normal formation just with a higher defensive line, Constant Pressure and Fast Build Up on. I resent that it's as effective as it is but against poor players it completely and totally overwhelms them. 

 

You can sort of tell in the first few seconds if they seem a bit shaky, I just chuck it on and go for the kill. 

 

Get absolutely murdered if it turns out they're decent though

Yup... cost me about 20k... used a few untradeables in the process. But I think if you had to buy the squads it would still cost 50k in total

So I was lucky enough to pack dembele UCL untradeable... but I can't believe how poor he is for me! So slow on the ball and passing is shocking. Switched out for fred who is so much better for me. Anybody else have any players who are just overrated

I really want it! Depends how many disposable high rated players you have in your club I suppose as the two squads are 84 and 85 rated. That card could get some nice upgrades

Currently 14-6 in weekend league just completed Aubameyang POTM to try and get me 6 wins out of my last 10 tomorrow.

After going 5 wins out of 10 in my first ever Champs day, I dropped off a bit and went 4 and 6 today.

 

I'm still happy with my play and only had one match where I wasn't in it. Had 4 go to extra time and even won one on penalties!

 

Happy I finished off the night with a 4-0 thrashing ending up in my opponent rage quitting 30 mins in 

 

9 wins, with 10 more to play tomorrow.

Currently 11 from 25. Really struggled this week, at least I’ve qualified for next weekend. 

 

I packed Muller from last weeks rewards and had Bellarabi as a player pick. I’ve ended up rage selling my Serie A team and created a Bundesliga side to fit these 2 in.

Shame I’m at work today so probably won’t finish my games. I’m currently 13-2 so reckon I could still have a decent go at getting elite, but we’ll see. As long as I make gold 2 minimum I’ll be happy.

Is rivals the only way of getting qualification points for the weekend league? Obviously you can get them from the weekend league itself once you’ve qualified but 2000 seems like a right slog when you only get 50 points or whatever it is for a win in rivals

I really wish this game wasn't designed to reward everyone whose defensive "style" is just charging in to people. 

 

Some games on this are actually a better rugby simulator than any of the previous actual rugby simulators.
