Surely they would want to avoid Croatia in the next game. Even Argentina are a more attractive opponent at this point.

They're not going to be speculating beyond that point as it's unpredictable how other groups' final matches/last 16 ties will develop.

The France players quote I posted suggests exactly that, yes.

I wasn't referring to their next game but their possible four games to the trophy as a comparison. Which, if they top the group, could likely be Argentina, Portugal/Uruguay, Brazil, Final.

I still think the bottom half and Croatia would be the easier route to the trophy if the groups finish as expected from this point. As I said though, it's all conjecture at this point.

F**k me France have been dull this tournament. Some of the most exciting players in world football with world class players in almost every position, but so disjointed and lacklustre.

 

I had them down as winners before the competition started, but on this evidence the only competition they'll win is "most boring team of the tournament."

All games should be played in the evening! Daytime games seem to less exciting to watch. Why is that?

Imagine if France is adopting a new plan. They are playing badly and not scoring loads of goals on purpose so they can adapt to Sh*thousing a trophy a la Portugal in the Euros. 4D chess *taps temple with index finger*

Once more, Denmark are disappointing in possession. I think it's definitely affecting them, the knowledge that a draw is enough, especially as they will be aware that Peru are leading. It's a shame because this French team are not interested in doing much this game. The Danish team lacks quality, but they do occasionally click. I was hoping they would have a bit more room and quality in this game...

denmark are the worst team in this tournament, called it after ten minutes of the first game and a lot of people ended up crying but god i couldn’t imagine how rubbish this match is. 

 

pretty sure i read that theyve scored 4 goals and conceded one (a penalty) in like the last year of football or something. teams like this ruin the beautiful game.

You are right, you are going to get ridiculed for that.

 

No one needs Lord Bendtner, plus the issue is you don't seem interested in trying to score so not even sure what he'd do any way.

All games should be played at 8pm and the next games at 10pm (just like main boxing fight). Night games are always more exciting!
