Anyone else feel like our squad is pretty huge at the moment? I know there's still plenty of time for outgoings but just feels odd seeing the likes of King, Mendy and Elder at the pre-season camp, to then have those who were at the world cup still to come back, along with the new acquisitions. Wouldn't be surprised if our departures amount to double figures by the end of the window.

I'd be surprised if James ended up at Burnley...only players we are linked with are at CH, striker and winger.

 

As for "bargain bucket", quite correct and that is why Burnley will soon announce a pre-tax profit of £58 million in the latest set of accounts. So-called bigger teams like basket case Villa and cash-strapped Derby would love to be in our financial position.:)

So we’ve had a week of pre-season with only one striker. And that’s Leo.
