Haha, it's a lazy way of saying an attack minded central midfielder.

Got ya!

After hearing about Kaputska’s lack of physicality, I’m not sure that he’d cope well in that role at PL level. Would love to be proved wrong. I’m hoping Silva can flourish in that role and it’d be great for Kaputska to be a worthy deputy.

Not comparing Kaputska to these but Ozil, Silva, Mahrez are all lightweight. You can be a top player and not be lightweight. He’s had a full season of top flight football with Freiburg and with more game time he’ll improve for it.

Has Periera joined up yet as I haven’t seen a single pic of him yet

I find it odd Pereira hasnt even posted anything about it. Has he even done an interview?

No, he hasn't.

He had the odd appearance here and there in the Bundesliga, two short stints in the German Cup, but was either on the bench or left out of the squad completely, with their manager complaining about his lack of application and tendency to make the most basic of mistakes.

This is a massive opportunity for him to impress this summer. He's essentially only got a couple of players to overcome whereas before he was about 6th choice. He's exactly the type of player Puel will give a chance to, hope he takes it.

Listen, I'd love to see Kapustka prove everybody wrong and live up to the hype surrounding him since EURO 2016.

But he didn't do particularly well at a club like Freiburg and I do wonder whether he's learnt from his mistakes and progressed mentally. He has some of the most impressive skills up his sleeve, but due his age and character, lets it slide too often still. Inconsistency has killed him lately.

There is hope.

I suppose if there's one manager out of our recent lot that will give him every chance to make an impact, it's Puel. We seem to be at a point where we are very weak in the wide positions and there's a gap opening up for him to make a name for himself. If he's looking stronger, then that's a big advantage as he seemed like a lost boy when he came here. Technically he's gifted, praying he's got the mentality to force his way in. We need him.

Silva back today

Not like the lads had a long hard season. He's just had 6 months on holiday thanks to the fax machine! Nice to see he's eager though.

Yeah of course. Most players of that stature have unbelievable technical ability though. I do hope he reaches the potential that the scouts saw in him.
