Don't know why we bother trying to score goals any more, that's so 2016, we should be focusing more on the stats. Modern teams like Wolves are leading the way in expected goals, corners won and pass completion, which lets face it is what a fan wants in 2018.

Only one stat counts in football and that is in the wins column. Everything else is just fluff.

Looking forward to hearing about they deserved to win the league with their pass completion and expected goals, but actually get relegated.

The results will catch up with the stats ......... in the end. You need to hope that you aren’t hanging around the bottom three before then because the pressure from above could force Nuno to make changes and then anything could happen. look at us four season ago ......  players good enough to be challenging for the CL who ended up plum bottom for months because the coaching staff lost their way. 

after Man City you go to West Ham who will be desperate not to lose. Then you entertain Burnley where you could struggle to win. Then old Trafford. Who knows what could be happening there end sept. Confidence is a tricky thing once is goes. 

everyone is saying you will be fine (me included) and if things go your way you should be in that middle group of the table. But be careful......it’s  easy to fall off the roundabout in this league!

Ah, more of that Expected Goals claptrap.

People are greedy for more stats, so they are easily pleased. As long as they can spin the numbers in their own way of thinking and they can read something positive into two matches, one point, failing to profit from two one-man advantages in succession.

Hope you stay up, but stop trying to come across as so desperate.

These stats mean absolutely nothing. We only created a few chances because we scored twice and buried the game as soon as we got out of second gear. Game over by half time = no need to commit men forward, particularly with 10 men.

Interesting to see the contrasting opinions of the match between wolves fans. While there is a lot of ranting online about how unlucky they were and how they ran us ragged, I listened to the West Midlands radio last night and all the callers seemed to be of the same opinions as most City fans, bright start but after 30 minutes we took control and managed the game well and generally didn't give them a sniff. Being naive and lacking premier league know and basically being schooled by Leicester were the general comments.
