Sad news about actor Burt Reynolds passing away

 

in some classic films

 

Deliverance in 1972 was amazing

Smokey And The Bandit, Cannonball Run, loved those films when I was a kid.

 

He was also brilliant in Boogie Nights.

The Mean Machine was a good film. Apparently Reynolds was a very promising College football player before getting injured and going into acting.

When I was a youth I wanted to look like Burt Reynolds when I grew up. I bet he got laid more times than he can remember.

TBF now hes dead, that goal is probably more achievable but less desirable.

Boogie Nights capped off a fantastic film career for him.

My first memory of seeing him on TV was a Cannonball re-run in the late 80ies.

 

Shame he ran into financial and health problems later in his life and ended up almost penniless and with a crooked back.

 

Burt Reynolds in his heyday was a fantastic actor, a great man with a great personality and a certain swagger about him.

Conversation I heard between two binmen yesterday:

 

"Burt Reynolds has died so Cannonball Run will be on this weekend."

 

"Yeah, and Three Men and A Little Baby."

 

 

I'm hoping I do not have to explain where this is wrong, on two counts actually.
