broughtonblue Posted 2 November 2018 Posted 2 November 2018 Was wondering if anybody was sick enough to try and prosper from the death of Vichai. Then saw these on eBay.? Also I was wondering what people's attitude would be to the scarf sellers around the stadium if they were selling them for personal gain? I think personally I would have to say something. 1
STEVIE B Posted 2 November 2018 Posted 2 November 2018 This is shameful. Also a reflection of the world we live in unfortunately. 1
Popular Post Izzy Posted 2 November 2018 Popular Post Posted 2 November 2018 I wouldn't give them the publicity by having a thread on it tbh. 7
Fox92 Posted 2 November 2018 Posted 2 November 2018 Don't get the problem. Someone dies and their autographs are put on eBay or their price goes up. Happens to absolutely every famous person that dies.

Captain... Posted 2 November 2018 Posted 2 November 2018 (edited) Are they really doing anything wrong? He sells high res glossy photos that are probably copyrighted, the Vichai ones are reasonably priced for an A4 print cheaper than some of his other prints. If I wanted an A4 picture to remind myself of the great man I’d probably buy one. Personally I don’t but I imagine some people might, in which case there is a demand and so a supplier. It’s not like he has created an account on the back of this tragedy. Edited 2 November 2018 by Captain... 1

davieG Posted 2 November 2018 Posted 2 November 2018 A lot of these photos have been on sale for a long time, seems like their just changing the focus of them.
Nalis Posted 2 November 2018 Posted 2 November 2018 Playing devils advocate on the scarf q - of course the main aim for the scarf sellers is profit but some people might want a memorial scarf as a momento.

In that case I would request the club to sell them officially, with the money going to good causes. Anyone selling scarves outside the ground is clearly profiteering.

dyanmark Posted 2 November 2018 Posted 2 November 2018 Michael Jackson estate just made 400 million dollars last year .Incredible
Foxes1 Posted 2 November 2018 Posted 2 November 2018 Not as bad as some sites that are selling t-shirts with his name / pictures on
stripeyfox Posted 2 November 2018 Posted 2 November 2018 I think we're in danger of being hyper-sensitive here. If people want to spend money on a photo then that's up to them. No one's making them buy it. Lets focus on the huge amount of warmth and love going around than this negative stuff.
