ithuriel Posted 30 November 2018 Posted 30 November 2018 Was watching a bit of Dave Allen on YouTube, watched him as a kid, when my mum would let me stay up a bit. Still makes me laugh

ithuriel Posted 1 December 2018 Author Posted 1 December 2018 Remember his show from the 90s? on Sky, not to everyone's taste but comedy rarely is.
Crinklyfox Posted 1 December 2018 Posted 1 December 2018 Can't have a comedians thread without Birmingham City's most famous supporter.

Sir Shep Posted 1 December 2018 Posted 1 December 2018 Tommy Cooper, but I’ve no idea how you copy the videos from youtube on to here!
Guest MattP Posted 1 December 2018 Posted 1 December 2018 Horrifically unPC but boy could he deliver a punchline. https://youtu.be/QKnwn9SEkdA

Out of the current comedians now, Michael McIntyre is one of the preferred ones personally. Switch off automatically when Sarah Millican is on, more annoying than funny.
RonnieTodger Posted 4 December 2018 Posted 4 December 2018 Have you ever noticed when your brass hand gets stuck?

Crinklyfox Posted 8 December 2018 Posted 8 December 2018 Liverpool's finest who passed away earlier this year. His marathon stand-up shows were legendary and he could appeal to all ages. A generation of children delighted in his Ken Dodd and the Diddymen shows. He was also a singer with a series of successful songs, 'Tears' was one of the best selling songs of the 1960s. IMO well worthy of a place in this thread.

I paid quite a bit of money to see McIntyre live because my daughter likes him and we went together. He was unbelievably unfunny. To me, Millican is just awful, yet Mrs Parafox finds her hilarious.
