Booing your own team

Recommended Posts

Sat in East stand, and am I the only one who finds booing the team unacceptable.....two fantastic wins, if Vardy scores at Palace instead of hitting the post we probably win, if Maddison scores penalty today we probably win. Those incidents are not Puels fault.....in any way shape or form.

So if you were one of the moaning booing ****ers stfu. Please.

Who let madders take the penalty?

The manager I assume.

Just asking.

Read Claudio's interview from the Fulham game today.

The manager can't dictate everything from the side of the pitch.

Hate it.

Can't bring myself to boo the team, shows nothing and does nothing at all.

I don't get booing either. Get frustrated and angry but never booing. I'm in the Puel out camp but I still want us to win every game- don't get fans who want us to lose so he can go.

That's very worrying. May as well not be there then.

I accept it was either pre determined or as he won it he was allowed to take it.

But he's fast becoming the next mahrez when it comes to spot kicks.

We've seen it so many times in lots of teams with spot kicks, this isn't a "Puel failing".

This is as synonymous with Foxestalk as swapping the Kop and the Family Stand.

Never actually said it was.

But honestly after the effort in the shootout would you have him anywhere near it?

Said the same about mahrez was never ever convinced.

Why he was allowed to take man city's at Liverpool I never know. I'd argue pep should have know better. Hopefully now Claude does as well.

Maddison scored his last pen in the league so it wasnt that much of a shock he took this one as well.. Nacho is probably the best choice but he is already being booed by our fans, if he missed we would have people on the pitch trying to kill him.

Booing players onto the pitch is a disgrace, then again walking through Leicester it’s hardly surprising. Half the people in the city barely make zoo grade intelligence, mostly scumbags from the hood now lol

It just shows us up as an ungrateful bunch which let’s face it a lot of people are. Everything is instant, it’s the way the world is going nowadays. Put into perspective the events after West Ham at home and a 1-0 home defeat ain’t the end of the world!!

Honestly.

Well as Harry actually showed he can take a penalty.

And as a striker nacho should be taking it all day long.

I accept had he missed he'd have probably got the kemogant treatment. But he really should have been screaming to take it as a striker.

No idea why he was let take it, but at that point who else would you want to have it? Maguire is best I can think of.

But I do respect him, even after missing the one in the shootout, to step up and take it. Takes guts.

The latest comment in the match thread was lots of them turned their backs and didn't want to take the kick, which if true is disgraceful.

Iheanacho. There’s got to be something he can do well, surely

Saw gray go over as if he wanted it. Can't comment on the rest of the players. But if true that probably shows we have some very fragile players at the club.

I thought he was going to take it and was terrified for the lad in case he missed.

Did well when he came on btw. Should have started

I never have and never will boo city, however if I feel they haven’t lifted a leg or tried then I won’t clap them at the end. I didn’t clap them today but fair play to all those that did.

Wouldn't have had an issue Gray taking it either, Nacho seemed to be lurking by the pen spot as if to want it as well.

Confident players want to take penalties. Can you blame ihenacho for not, with all the booing and stick he has been getting. He would of been slaughtered had he missed.

Though in  in many ways it’s irekevant as Maddison picked the ball straight up, and wasn’t letting it go.
