The England winger scored inside two minutes during a 2-0 win over Leicester, his first goal since January 22 and first in the Premier League since December 2023.

We really are a gift.

Apparently no team has lost 8 home games in a row and not scored in football league history.

Up steps Leicester ….

Also whilst I’m still here ….

Most PL defeats in a season is 29. We can equal this.

Most consecutive PL defeats in one season is 15. We can equal this.

We just need to not lose 1 game before the end of the season and stop adding to these terrible records.

We've never lost 11 games at home in the same season either - looking set to smash that record

Callum Wilson goal tomorrow. Not scored in 5 months in the league.

If we don't score tomorrow, we would have gone 5 months since a home goal

Derby fans will be rooting for us on 3 May. They will want us to beat Southampton and help make them the worst ever Premier League team, with 10 points from a whole season. This is going to be an absolutely horrible game of 'football'.

I love that you actually counted them out 😂

Ok so I can’t count clearly, but in my defence it feels like 5!

Definite 2-0 defeat vibes about it.

It’s going to be awful. Normally it would still be a relegation battle, or even if it’s all over, it gets the atmosphere of a testimonial and farewell to the Premier league. But the toxicity added by Southampton trying to avoid Derby’s unwanted record, and the desperation generated by us trying to avoid extending the no goals scored at home record to something that’s never likely to be beaten and will hang around our necks forever is something else. It would actually be a relief is there’s a big bust up five minutes into the game and enough get sent off to cause the match to be abandoned. Then let the kids play on pitch with jumpers for goalposts.

One huge positive - this is a chance for our esteemed Retirement  Recruitment Team to scout all the dross that Southhampton want rid of early doors, before the National League Clubs come sniffing..
