To take this away from all the Puel In/Out debate; let’s look at all the crazy negative streaks that we as a club have helped to end this season and the many seasons before:

 

Long not scoring for 34 games ✅ 

Newport not beating top flight opposition for 54 years ✅ 

Cardiff not winning away all season ✅ 

Crystal Palace not winning when Zaha doesn’t play ✅ 

 

I’m sure there are many more, infact I’m sure Morata scores against us last season!

 

Prediction for the future:

 

Burley getting a penalty against us.

How many other top flights teams have Newport played in those 54 years? 2? I don't get those sort of stats. The BBC saying today Brighton haven't beaten Liverpool since '63 (I think, can't remember the exact year now), well they're rarely in the same league.

 

A lot does seem to happen against us though.

I heard today that it's been nearly 5 years since a red card has been shown to a player when they're against Newcastle. 

28th Jan 2014 was the last time a player was sent off against them.

 

Looks like 13th April 2019 could be an unlucky day....

We are cursed...and old lady cursed Don revie and the club in the "50s".  

 

So it's not new...60 fking years...of rekindling clubs and individuals form!!!

 

It's now known if you are a club with a negative record,or a player months out of form..hope your next game is against Leicester...

Well if our players do naive and stupid brain-fart things in the box, you could be right.  Mendy and Albrighton were not under Puel's instructions to do what they dod in the last two games.
