Livid Posted 28 April 2019 Posted 28 April 2019 He's gone from being the weakest link to being absolutely outstanding. Got to be in with a really good shout for Player of the Season.
Ric Flair Posted 29 April 2019 Posted 29 April 2019 He is the ultimate full back, I still have to pinch myself that we have him. We waited so long for an attacking right back and we get one of the best.
RowlattsFox Posted 29 April 2019 Posted 29 April 2019 Unbelievable how much he has gone under the radar outside of Leicester. Commentators seem surprised by him every week and no-one has mentioned him for team of the season whereas someone like Wan-Bissaka has been spoke about a lot. Ricardo didn't even make the list one the BBC 'pick your team of the season' page. Defensively improved, still the odd mistake but you are always going to get that with him, the positives outweigh the odd mistake. Love how he plays the game, no over the top dramatics, just gets on with it. Hope Chilwell can learn from him in the attacking third.
Sol thewall Bamba Posted 29 April 2019 Posted 29 April 2019 Can't believe he's the same lad that got made to look a mug at Bournemouth earlier this season.
Ric Flair Posted 29 April 2019 Posted 29 April 2019 2 goals and 8 assists I think now? Surely that's up there attacking wise with the very best full backs in the division. I'm glad the media haven't picke dup on it, very much like they didn't really notice Kante until about Christmas time.
J.Lisemore Posted 29 April 2019 Posted 29 April 2019 Remember reading he was rated the 10th best right back in the world by FourFourTwo when we signed him, wouldn’t swap him for any right back in the Premier League now either.
RumbleFox Posted 29 April 2019 Posted 29 April 2019 If he keeps his head down and works hard he could potentially be as good as Schlupp. X
lcfc278 Posted 29 April 2019 Posted 29 April 2019 He is class! 8 assists so far, only 2 or 3 behind the lauded Robertson at L'pool. I honestly think he would walk into the United, Arsenal and Chelsea squads.

My bad, saw the tweet from LCFC that it was his eighth but didn't consider the cups, still though not bad when you compare the qty of goals we've scored to Liverpool!

Ricardo is a brilliant attacking full back, why on earth would you want to change this around to accommodate Dan Amartey! The mind boggles on here it really does.. Christ. Not sure why this point offended you so much. First off, I posted this 6 weeks ago. At a point where I felt we needed more solidarity at full back. Amartey would provide this, and by Ricardo in a front 3 it'd give him free roam to do what he does best, attack! This is to accommodate Ricardo's abilities, not finding a spot for Amartey! But over 6 weeks, yesterday a shining example, hes proven to be a valuable asset at both aspects. For that, my opinion has changed on the matter, especially with the choices we have in that forward position. Besides which, Amartey was starting to perform admirably at right back before his injury and I believe that is where he is best. Should it mean he gets straight back i when he's fit? Not anymore.

It's a top effort, when you consider his got 6 and Chilly has got 4, that's great effort from both of them
