Bobby Hundreds Posted 13 June 2019 Posted 13 June 2019 Greta Thunberg will be spitting feathers at that itinerary.
spacemunky Posted 5 September 2019 Posted 5 September 2019 I guess this deserves a big bump up. Qualifiers back on starting today.
HybridFox Posted 5 September 2019 Posted 5 September 2019 Still absolutely buzzing that I've got two Wembley group games. Watching these qualifiers with added interest now! Particularly what happens with Scotland who will potentially be in England's group.
MC Prussian Posted 5 September 2019 Posted 5 September 2019 Ireland vs Switzerland is a yawn fest of the highest order.

He was on the ball with a few defenders around him and, despite James McClean being free on his left in a better position, he makes a tame shot. Though, he was unlucky with a cross from the right tbh, a few minutes before half-time, where the ball was slightly put of reach for of a fellow ROI player to strike. McClean is a decent player, and he probably deserves better than being at a current bottom-of-the-table Championship club.
spacemunky Posted 5 September 2019 Posted 5 September 2019 Ireland doing the best with what they have and that's about it. Quality isn't there, but they put in the effort. I see Alan Judge coming on. He was with Notts many years ago. Was touted as the "Irish Messi". Really been more like the "Irish Wilshere". Guy is very rarely healthy.
MC Prussian Posted 5 September 2019 Posted 5 September 2019 And a centre-back needs to open the score. 1-0 to the slightly more active team.

spacemunky Posted 5 September 2019 Posted 5 September 2019 Was a great shot from Whelan off the bar. Good job by McGoldrick. McClean has been Ireland's best player.
shen Posted 5 September 2019 Posted 5 September 2019 Would still be mildly surprised if ROI finish higher than third. Denmark typically start out meh and become stronger as the quali campaign progresses and ROI very much needed a win against the Swiss to distance them.
Nalis Posted 6 September 2019 Posted 6 September 2019 Good scoreline so far from Hamburg from a Northern Ireland perspective.
fuchsntf Posted 6 September 2019 Posted 6 September 2019 I knew as soon as I took up the German citizenship.....they would become Bloody useless....
MC Prussian Posted 6 September 2019 Posted 6 September 2019 Germany... rattled by oranges. A bit of Schadenfreude is in order tonight.
FLAN Posted 8 September 2019 Posted 8 September 2019 I managed to get two tickets in the ballot for one of the Wembley semi finals. Anyone else get lucky?
Brainy Posted 8 September 2019 Posted 8 September 2019 Liechtenstein!! Scored a goal and drew away to Greece
spacemunky Posted 9 September 2019 Posted 9 September 2019 I have a really nice stream of the Poland/Austria match. It's in Polish though, so I can only understand 1% of it. That's the part when they say "Lewandowski, Fabianski, Grosicki....".

foxes_rule1978 Posted 9 September 2019 Posted 9 September 2019 The Scots should be pleased with 3 nil; better than what I thought they would do by half time
