Jimothy Posted 7 July 2019 Posted 7 July 2019 Pearce and Smith saying the goalkeeping in the tournament on a whole has been good with no sense of irony
KingsX Posted 7 July 2019 Posted 7 July 2019 Shameless attempt to draw eyeballs into the thread and STILL NOBODY IS ARSED !!

Super_horns Posted 7 July 2019 Posted 7 July 2019 Bit unlucky for the Dutch girl but her foot was high and caught the American.
Super_horns Posted 7 July 2019 Posted 7 July 2019 Notice the American Men's team are in the Gold Cup final - wonder how much interest that has in America compared to this?
pSinatra Posted 7 July 2019 Posted 7 July 2019 USA are really unlikable & Rapinoe the most unlikable of the lot. I can't help but feel that they've had more than their fair share of luck (call it bias) from the refs & VAR. It worries me that VAR isn't creating the level playing field it's meant to. I think the ref telling any player to "get the fvck up & get on with it" would be far more helpful
spacemunky Posted 7 July 2019 Posted 7 July 2019 Nice goal. Lavelle doesn't seem to get much press, but she's a good player.
SouthStandUpperTier Posted 7 July 2019 Posted 7 July 2019 Pearce moaning about NED going 3 at the back. They're 2-0 down in a WC Final! They've got to chase the game you tool! What difference does it make if it's 2-0 or 5-0?
KingKoala Posted 7 July 2019 Posted 7 July 2019 I'm worried about the use of VAR in WWC and Copa America.

I’m quite happy with it ... VAR is getting things right and adding a bit of drama while we wait ... and as for the Cameroon game ... I about pissed my pants at that one .... VAR ... racism at its worst ! ...

Still quite a lot but the focus is rightly on the World Cup Final. Wife is very happy with result. I’m still sore England didn’t make it

Yes I think that was spot on but the ref has a choice not to review the scene and it happened several times in WWC and especially Copa America.
SouthStandUpperTier Posted 7 July 2019 Posted 7 July 2019 Congratulations to the US...you irritating buggers! Worthy winners. Gotta say I enjoyed the tournament on the whole.
