urban.spaceman Posted 23 May 2019 Posted 23 May 2019 The UK Live & Facility Fees are where it all becomes completely unfair, as Sky and BT get to choose which games they get to broadcast and tend to favour the fashionable clubs. Meanwhile every single match not broadcast in the UK is shown all around the world anyway. Also, why are Spurs getting facility fees when they’ve spent two seasons away from home? Shouldn’t that money be going to Wembley?!

Broadcasting revenue in the UK sees 50% equally shared; 25% shared based on how often a club’s matches are broadcast in the UK (known as 'Facility Fees'); and 25 per cent shared based on where a club finish in the league table (known as 'Merit Payments').
surrifox Posted 23 May 2019 Posted 23 May 2019 Even Huddersfield should be able to rebuild the playing strength with that sort of dosh and further parachute payments to come

Fox92 Posted 24 May 2019 Posted 24 May 2019 Makes it even more of a joke away tickets aren't less than £30 and new shirts cost £50.

Supply and demand, if we keep buying them at that price they will keep selling them. Unfortunately, football is now big business and see us as nothing more than consumers.

Its why we are so lucky to have an owner like Top. He treats us as apart of the club, with his generosity in match give aways and Charity outside of football. I really hope this sort of treatment continues for other clubs in the PL.
Guest Kopfkino Posted 24 May 2019 Posted 24 May 2019 Be good of Newcastle to use the money they get for being media darlings to make themselves less boring if we have to watch half of their games
