Go Rochdale......

Our defeat at United looks a poor result now.

So far tonight...

Brighton, West Ham and Sheff Utd already out

Bournemouth 2-0 down, Man Utd and Wolves possibly going out on penalties as well

Rochdale taking a strong United to penalties is another bit hit to them.

It is a strong United too.  Pogba, Greenwood, Lingard, Wan Bissaka, Mata and James off the bench...

There is a malaise over that club now which happens sometimes in football and it is really difficult to shift.  I don't think they have finished falling yet.

Will they remember when they go through?

man city drew 0-0 with wolves a couple seasons ago and no one spoke much about it. Of course united have big issues but they go through

Even if they get through, this is a serious slap in the face for the team.

Bit of a difference between Rochdale and Wolves?

But it's something that'll sit in their minds. That Rochdale took them to penalties and they could only score 1 against them.

Ole looking delighted with his nights work. At home. To Rochdale. Winning on penalties. After being a goal up.

0 Championship sides in the draw, surely that is the first time. 5 teams from either League One or Two - give me one of those please.

With a Liverpool v arsenal and Man City v United.

Agree that it should be another weight on their shoulders but sometimes the relief of winning a shootout can be used as a catalyst for change ....... the manager tells the players that if things really are against them, they lose that ......
