MC Prussian Posted 25 September 2019 Posted 25 September 2019 Burton's a great draw, I have a lot of sympathies for the Brewers. Like the town quite a bit. Also rather local and there should be plenty of friendly support on both sides, no animosity.

Other than maybe us being at home and city and Liverpool drawing each other it's the best possible outcome for us. the odds of something like that ie the all prem ties and the leauge one ties and us getting the last leauge one side must be in the hundred thousands to one. nowhere near, mate

Guest MattP Posted 25 September 2019 Posted 25 September 2019 Can't see us losing this - great draw looking at the other ties.
That_Dude Posted 25 September 2019 Posted 25 September 2019 Very favourable draw and two of the top 6 will be gone. Everton vs Watford is also quite the tie. Please, lads don't screw it up.

ozleicester Posted 25 September 2019 Posted 25 September 2019 Burton was one of my fave towns, lovely stadium, easy to negotiate driving, nice people and Marmite
Aus Fox Posted 26 September 2019 Posted 26 September 2019 Anyone know anywhere I can watch highlights of all the league cup action over the last couple of days?

Leicester_Loyal Posted 26 September 2019 Posted 26 September 2019 Great draw, play an almost fully strength side for this, must win!
Koke Posted 26 September 2019 Author Posted 26 September 2019 Man Utd v Chelsea and Liverpool v Arsensl. Great to see. We just need Liverpool v Man City the round after that.
Deeg67 Posted 26 September 2019 Posted 26 September 2019 I love that Rodgers gives a bunch of squad players their much-deserved shot and they utterly dismantle a Championship side, and we’re flooded with demands to bench all of them for the regulars against a League One side.
JamesfromlondonLCFC Posted 26 September 2019 Posted 26 September 2019 cant wait to see lloyd dyer again what a man.

The 'bunch of squad players' contained some of our regular starting 11 in premiership fixtures (4 of them). Gray and Fuchs have also been given starts, so theres 6. No-one has asked for us to bench all of them. I merely stated the fact that we need to take it serious and play an almost fully strength side again (like we did against Luton in starting 6 starters).
Metal Lover Posted 26 September 2019 Posted 26 September 2019 I remember playing them at the old Baseball Ground in the FA Cup. What a shit show 😄
Nicolo Barella Posted 26 September 2019 Posted 26 September 2019 I think we can beat Manchester City when we draw them in the quarters. It's bound to happen sooner or later. If we beat them, then we can also draw the easy side they were going to get in the semis as well!
