I was looking through the PlayStation store and saw a game called Greedfall. Only cost £8 so giving that a go

RE Zero is also worth a playthrough.  Paid around 3 quid for that in a sale.  As is RE Revelations 1 and 2.  1 being the more atmospheric of the two.

 

Greedfall was free on ps plus a while back - I've still not tried it though!

Heads up on RE2 and RE3 remake, they are getting a shiny free next gen patch at some point this year, so might be worth holding off a little until that gets released - they are good looking games anyway, but should look even better with more next gen lighting bells and whistles lobbed on top.

I got an email last night saying congrats on getting the Gran Turismo 7 platinum trophy. I don't even own the game. Very strange

Greedfall is decent so far, i must have missed it when it was on PS plus. i did go a few months without touching my PS4 so must have been then. Not got very far but ive always loved an RPG game and so far this one looks like it will be a decent enough game.

What's everyone's thoughts on the rumoured PS5 Pro launching next year? I know it's in line with their usual development cycle but considering Covid has meant we've probably only seen a handful of games get close to showing off the technical capability of the console I must say I do feel a bit short changed that I forked out all that cash on launch, haven't really seen anything truly next gen and now they're likely to push out another version with a slight premium which will supposedly double the power of the machine.

Need to wait for the list of games before subscribing tbh, at the moment it just looks like youre getting PS+ and PSNow in a single bundle rather than seperate

I'm 53 hours in now.  Level 36. 2 cauldrons completed.  Mostly everywhere east of the base completed.  Las Vegas area in the south completed.  Two out of the initial three subroutines collected.  Currently focusing on Scalding Spear and to the north of that.  Just took out the first thunderjaw.  Once hitting level 32 and gaining the very rare bow from the contract missions in Vegas and the Tenakth armour from the flooded village side mission in the north, the hard difficulty is progressing towards normal now.

 

It's an absolute joy to play.  I installed v1.09 yesterday but I've yet to encounter any problem bugs bar one where I ended up going through a crevice in a mountain.  Remarkable considering the size and scope of the map.  

 

The talk may be of Elden Ring and the like but it looks like a downgrade to me.  I still maintain had this been a cross-platform title, it would have scored high 90s.

What makes you think it being a ps exclusive has influenced its review scores? I bet 5 or 6 out of the top 10 rated games of the last generation were PlayStation exclusives.

Need to see what the games are but stacks up at least a little better against Game pass.  Shame no day 1 releases though :thumbdown:

Just finished the Ted Faro questline in HFW.  No spoilers here but that was brilliant.  I like what they did with that.  Creepy sci-fi stuff very well done.  67 hours in, time for some more side quests and photo ops before continuing with the story.

75 hours done now.  Just finished all rebel camps and salvage contracts.  Game progression tells me I'm at 71% completion although I am well short on trophies overall.  I'm about to start the two cores in Gemini mission.  Will do that next then perhaps more side missions lol
