Brendan suggested that, ironically, it's harder due to our league position. Demands are higher when they know it's us which is weird. Or maybe we have to get rid of all the deadwood at the same time which is holding us back. Anyway it seems odd that we haven't made a statement signing to push for champions league. It's by no means secure yet despite what people think. Anyone who thinks that our squad is fine is hoping that we are incredibly lucky regarding injury, suspensions and form.

Never normally pessimistic but I agree. At least we’re not losing a major player
