The Leuven weekend - what a blast !!

What an absolute blast we had at the weekend in Leuven. Hotel, food and drink and training ground tours paid for by Top. The Leuven fans were so welcoming and hospitable, and made a right din at the game itself ! They won 3-0 and are now top of the league with a realistic chance of promotion to the top division.

 

Then yesterday as Storm Ciara closed down Dover and Calais, Top  paid for hotel and drink for everyone for the the extra night on Sunday

To top it all off, outside our hotel before we left, one illegal immigrant was found in the tyre well of our coach and then five others were found in coach two. Two if them were lying on top of the bus gearbox 😮😮.

 

The French police were deciding whether to find the drivers £2,000 or not.... You could not make it up.

 

We are now waiting to board the ferry pending any other incidents.

Further update... the door on our coach won't close so so we are hoping that Mercedes are going to meet us at Dover to fix it otherwise we need a new coach ...and...the ship tannoy has just announced it will take 1.5 hours to sail through the the storm and dock in Calais...😭😭

You’ve just made the classic mistake. Tannoy, is in fact a brand name. It should be labelled Public Address System.

Honestly what a bloke he is. A chip off the old block. We're so lucky to have these people in control of our club.
