Took us 94 minutes, but we got it done.

Woot!

The current top 3 were probably playing in League 1 together at one point.

Great draw for Ilkeston Town in the FA Cup, Hartlepool at home. Marske United will be disappointed with their away tie at Brackley Town though.

Another free live stream from York on their youtube channel today they're playing Brackley Town who have Ashley Chambers in their squad.

510 in attendance at Owen Street today as Coaville hammered Banbury 6-1 to maintain the unbeaten start to the season.

There was also around 30 Accrington Stanley fans present to pay homage to super Billy Kee, who scored two and picked up MOTM. Good times.

Good game and great atmosphere. I liked the tannoy announcements reminding people to stay in groups of 6 lol

They were barely audible in the second half once the drummer got going, but they were still well heeded...

Went to see Boro play over at Barwell today 585! Probably biggest crowd Barwell had for a while. Boro took a fair few fans down I'd say at 130-150 fans.

It's great to see two local teams that don't have a history of big crowds generating an aggregate attendance of over 1,000 for Saturday.

It'd be great if a portion of the new fans stick with Barwell and Coalville once the restrictions on fans returning to 'elite' football are lifted.

In the 80s, the athletic (Hinckley) and Shepshed had half decent crowds of 300-600 every week

Enderby/Leicester United never had much of a following but on the occasional big match : especially midweek when the local footballers weren't playing -  or a big FA Cup or FA Trophy match would get 800+

Edited to add, 80s senior league teams were always well followed

Plenty more games coming up at Coalville with tickets now on sale :)

Coalville have 'agreed' to reduce their capacity to 500 for the next two home fixtures. North West Leicestershire Council will also be flying a drone over the ground during the game against Rushden this Saturday to ensure the club is complying with Social Distancing.

Hopefully they will pass the footage on to the media team should they record any goals.

That football club is the only positive thing about the town. To say I'm angry is a gross understatement.

This is all of the back of 1 complaint isn’t it ?

id be interested to see what other grounds in the League are like, surely it’s not just Coalville having issues with distancing.

It is the same everywhere and off one complaint, we are being beaten with a stick.

Most people go to a non-league game and know what to expect but unfortunately we have someone who seems to be paying £10 to visit just to walk into the council offices on the Monday after and complain about everything.

They arent bothered about all the hard work volunteers are already doing and the positive buzz its given the town 😒

Yeah if you’re concerned about it just don’t go. Not ruin it for everyone else.

such a shame when the club finally start to see improved attendances that there being forced to reduce capacity.
