Let's be honest, all fans attending any sporting event no matter what level is going to come to a halt again in a week or two max isn't it.

Agreed. However, the National League had approximately a quarter of it's member clubs insist that the play-offs took place. As a result, a Premier League grant was used to ensure the play-offs got played rather than spent on the incoming black hole.

Thus they delayed the beginning of their new season. If they started in September and wasn't deemed elite sport, they'd have had crowds of 600 for a month and at the very least the Step 2 (Conf N/S clubs) would have probably been playing FA Cup games meaning some incoming prize money. Those three different monetary streams would have at least helped.

As it stands 75% of the member clubs in the National League are a bit peeved.

Still there, Leicester Road FC now play in.

Believe its right mess in terms of who own what's what down there.

Something like the bar, the pitch, the stands/changing rooms and land where the electric generator is all have opposing owners!

I know Leicester Road were having to host games with the help of a hired electric generator. Their crowds are pathetic mind.

Hinckley AFC's attendances been boosted greatly moving in at Barwell.

There was a letter in the Non-League Paper a few weeks ago saying they couldn't have it both ways- one time they want to be almost a fourth division of the Football League, at others very much part of the Non-League set-up.

As you say, going for the play-offs was probably the wrong option.

Very good game at Coalville tonight and into the hat for the 2nd qualifying round.

Well deserved

Followed up by an impressive 4-1 home win over Leiston. The Ravens have looked potent up front so far this season.

Hopefully more of the same on Tuesday night against Redditch.

Approaching 250 now. With City not playing until Sunday, I would expect a good walk-up crowd for this game.

Shame with the capacity restrictions be interesting to know how many would turn up. The other night Nuneaton Boro faced Loughborough Dymano the attendance was given 311! but honestly there looked more than that, there were signs of fans paying on the gate.

Absolute madness with the FA’s decision on Second Qualifying Round and fans of ‘Elite’ clubs not allowed to attend

Ridiculous decision.

How on earth do they go about policing that?
