@Ric Flair Will Alves uploaded some clips of himself from todays game on his Instagram story, kid has some really good skill with the ball!

Yeah, he looks obscene. Just hope he has the game management needed to prosper too but seems a very talented kid.

Another Goal Keeper?

https://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2021/04/12/report-leicester-could-complete-first-summer-signing-this-week-talks-under-way/

Leicester City could tie up a deal for Hartlepool United goalkeeper Brad Young this week after the talented shot-stopper travelled to the Midlands for talks, as reported by The Sun (11 April, page 67).

Young by name, young by nature, the Sunderland-born glovesman would certainly be ‘one for the future’ at a club that specialises in intelligent, long-term acquisitions.

The Sun reports the Hartlepool starlet, who was called up to represent England U19s during the March international break, has already been at Leicester to undergo negotiations with the Premier League outfit.

Young is also reported to have spent time training with Brendan Rodgers’ side.

And it’s understood the non-league starlet could officially become a Leicester player this week, with Hartlepool unlikely to stand in his way.

It remains to be seen how much Leicester would have to pay for Young’s signature, however.

A few weeks ago, the Hartlepool Mail reported Young has a contract beyond this summer, although it’s unknown how long that deal is.

Young came close to joining Chelsea in 2020 and, if he does complete a move to the King Power, is likely to initially represent the club’s U18 and U23 sides.

Get Will Alves in the first team immediately 😳 https://www.instagram.com/reel/CNiYIXPHYtg/?igshid=1g11yw8wet8q2

He takes the piss don't he 😂

I was surprised to see clips from him though as according to various sites he was an unused sub in this game at the weekend but given he's wearing No.7 he must have started the game? Which is good as prior to Saturday he'd not started an official U18 game for us.

Likely came off the bench as most sites don’t seem to report any subs being made at all

All the sites I use have the 3 subs that were made and No.7 shirt was worn by Wormeleighton.

Just tends to show how crap the reporting for under 18s is really!

Made even worse by the fact that seemingly even the club think he never came off the bench

A journalist wasnt paying attention to the game, his boss has asked who number 7 was ... he has scrambled and made up the name Wormeleighton on the spot.
