He is clearly broken - this is not the lad that first broke in and I have sympathy for him in that I believe he really cares deep down but he needs saving from himself, for the team by the manager and for the fans. The one bit yesterday I did not like was the final whistle and he plus Skipp wanted straight down the tunnel until Martin made them at least turn to us - yes there was a lot of boos but that is there job and the level of arrogance was still evident in the performance.

I would move all of the past players on we need a completely new atmosphere on the pitch and in the stands.

Even worse when he calls for the ball and isn’t under a press. The way he hasn’t opened his body shows he has no intention other than sending it straight back without looking forwards or takes so long he invites the press, passes back and causes problems for everyone else when a simple boot down the line would give Alves something to chase.

 

Poor player but also poor coaching staff to allow him to get away with this season after season.

Stop going to the pub so frequently may be one thing to start with.

 

The guy looked absolutely spent after about half an hour. 

Struggled to track back when they would hit on the counter. 

Decision-making was terrible, barely knew what to do on the ball when they pressed. Even when he got forward he was shanking crosses. 

 

Useless player and has been given far too many opportunities to prove people wrong and failed. Hamza-levels of inadequacy.

Bore off. Show me a single piece of evidence that he actually cares. These people “feeling sorry for him”  while he’s paid tens of thousands without showing a shred of professionalism, more interested in drinking down the castle, playing snooker or tennis at David Lloyd than working harder so he doesn’t look like a pre-pubescent boy — need to sod off. I despise him and I will boo every touch until he’s no longer associated with this club. Professional footballer, my a**e.

 

His Uncle used to pipe down up on here now again defending him. Strange he’s been silent for a few years? 🤔

We've all heard the rumours about his drinking habit. 

 

I can't put my finger on exactly what it is, but something about the way he plays does look exactly like the lad in Sunday League who got in at 5 and stinks of ale. 

 

That's where he belongs.

With Thomas it's worse because of where he loses the ball. Often needlessly

I’m still on here and still read the comments I just don’t bother getting in to debates anymore as it achieves nothing. 
 

You and every other fans has a view and that’s football and why we love it. 
 

What I used to take issue with was that he was being called a bully when VK arrived which was just a load of shit. 
 

Call him shit, unprofessional whatever you like this doesn’t bother me it’s your view and you’re entitled to it. It’s not my job to change that, that’s down to Luke and the manager.

How many divisions do we need to drop before Thomas finds his level?

Any opposition manager will see how awful his first touch is and will continue to target him.

 

Between him and Skipp, you see more heavy touches than you do in a Sunday league game.

 

Compare his commitment to improving physically to Chilwell,  it’s night and day.

 

Scary to think of the resources that he has to actually get into optimum shape yet appears to make zero effort at doing this.

He's better going forward in the opposing third than defending. Unfortunately, playing with Mcarthy, Souttar, and Skipp - they all just seem to amplify each others' weaknesses on the ball. Which leads to the calamitous situations we witnessed yesterday. A better keeper, CB, and 6 might change the picture dramatically.

The next two weeks incomings (if any) decides if we go up automatically or finish 7th

If we had a competent, not even particularly good, LB last season who could defend and chip in with overlaps and assists then we wouldn’t have been relegated last season.

 

Don’t even need to take the Ayew and Daka issue out of the equation.
