I really I am not sure why people keep mentioning the fact he’s a local lad as a reason for keeping him? we could pick up players from Coalville, Shepshed etc, but I thought we were playing premier league football and it’s quite obvious Luke Thomas isn’t good enough in any way for this.

So we have so called fans ‘knowing for a fact’ he’s lazy outside of football whatever that means and having a dig because he may or may not have a personal shopper. 
 

In fairness these are tame in comparison to some of the abuse he receives online and directly and shows the fan base for what it is.
 

I’ve said this before, football is opinion based I have no issue with the fans that think he’s shit.

I didn’t mention lazy though, more believes in his own hype, thinks he has made it before he has etc

You didn’t call him lazy someone else did. So let me get this right he believes his own hype because he has a personal shopper? Or he believes his own hype because of some other reason, if so enlighten me?

My missus earns five figures a year same as the rest of us and pays a personal shopper. I've got mates that live in a Cardiff terrace house and pay a housekeeper to come clean and I've just had a professional gardener come and tidy up my front and back yards because I hate gardening. 

 

You don't need to be an arrogant, out of touch, lazy millionaire to pay someone in the service industry. 

 

Using it against Thomas is probably one of the stupidest criticisms of a footballer I've ever heard.

I’m biased I’ve openly said this for obvious reasons to the point that I promise myself I won’t comment and I don’t until silly comments and suggestions are made. 
 

Call him shit by all means but don’t bring whatever he does in his personal life as something to hammer him with. He’s a young lad  and has a life to lead too I’m sure he will make mistakes like we all did when we were young but a personal shopper seriously?
 

it’s good to see some fans do recognise we have short memories. There was a whole newspaper article about the triangles that Luke, barnes and KDH were playing granted this hasn’t happened much lately. 
 

For the record I think the new LB is decent but read the early comments in this thread the same comments were being made about Luke. We are winning Luke isn’t in the side yet I find it amazing that people still feel the need to put sly digs in and hammer him.

You'd be alarmed if you heard what the other players got up to in their spare time I reckon. Its an absolutely ridiculous suggestion to say success has gone to his head because of this. Half of ****ing youth team use personal shoppers and have agencies to get them cars / book their holidays.

Unless you know him personally you know nothing about him.

This thread has definitely taken a turn for the worse!

 

Think things we can all agree on would be

 

We all think footballers personal lives are ridiculous, but realistically we'd, mostly, all do the same things if we were multi millionaires in our early 20's.

Thomas was good at the start, not so much now (he has been honking this season, but most of them have tbh)

VK has looked a cut above, but it's early days still.

That can change anytime..& dynamic, and impulse CAN be worked on…plus I don’t understand that term in his analysing…He has it when he hit the first team, shown moments in all games…Errors, mistakes,I don’t go OTT, Jesus our star players,havent shown much dynamic & fluffed their lines this season…
