Is there little value in England overseas Test tours (bar the Ashes)? Every year we seem to know late who will show the series.

This will never make sense to me, surely there should be more interest in TV for overseas tours, for starters there are 20k odd in the ground for home series who would be wanting to watch an overseas tour

Interesting fact I just came across: at home, England haven't lost a Test series of three matches or more since the Saffers in 2012, and have only lost three in the last 22 years.

I reckon that's comparable to India and Oz in terms of home conditions dominance. And Graeme Smith can have a little smile at succeeding (twice) where Steve Smith, Kohli et al never did.

Incredible. With a little bit more love and marketing budget, so many people in the country could be talking about this right now.

Yup. It should be leading on all of the sports news today but of course barely features.

Added bonus of Surrey losing of course which is always nice.

Afghanistan v NZ (played on outskirts of New Delhi) becoming the 8th test in history abandoned without a ball being bowled.

No surprises that the fist two instances of this were ashes tests in Manchester

What a dump (Manchester)

Only England can let the opening batsmen take 3 wickets

Don’t mess this up !

They probably wish Short had bowled more.

Great hitting by Livingstone and Bethall .
