Weirdly feel its been a shot in the arm for domestic one day cricket though. Chance for young players to break through, big revival of outgrounds, ticket sales apparently up for a lot of counties this year. It's thriving despite any lack of help.

Ashes venue announced, no northern venues! Two in London, one in Birmingham, one in Southampton, one in Nottingham.

 

Both Manchester and Leeds snubbed. Surely one of them should have made the list even if it meant dropping lords or the oval.

They were announced three years ago as this. I don’t know why everyone is losing their shit now
