Iyer with a good show but not much support, you would think 159 is eminently chaseable.

Archer & Curren's combined 8 overs only going for 44 is very impressive.

If England get through the powerfully relatively unscathed, should be fairly straightforward.

India have players missing? Games are never usually like this when they’re involved

Are they possibly spoilt for choice ?

Maybe the IPL has created so many good players, they chop & change too much ?

Pant, Bumrah, Pandya, Siraj to name a few.

It's an ageing squad (barring the wonderkid).

Nonetheless, no excuse for such a weak performance on more than one occasion.

If is a fair point tbh that the ECB, like most other London based organisations, don't think there's anything worth considering north of the Watford Gap (apart from a small nod to Lancs and Yorks occasionally).

Even they're not getting am Ashes Test next year. Disgrace.

The franchises for the Blast have struggled to find sponsors so the ECB has allowed gambling organisations for this year only until the government ban kicks in. So much for it being a family event

First Big Bash game in Dec being played in India lol

Joke.

Apparently Aus cricket is suffering a bit financially, so they'll probably open up to Indian franchise.

The Sydney Super Kings has a ring to it, mind lol

Canberra Capitals anyone?

It's about time one of the 3 super powers suffered a bit. The game would be far better & more competitive if the cash cows didn't hold all of the cards.

Assume you mean the hundred but yeah, it's always been absolute bollocks. If you genuinely wanted it to be family friendly, it'd be available in more than seven cities across the country. Always was about what would generate cash, fvck the ethics.

Compare that to the Roses derby tonight. Proper crowd, proper rivalry, top stars playing. So easy to sell to UK football fans like the Blast/T20 Cup was set up to do. Give that tournament the fvcking hundred's marketing budget and everyone in the country starts following cricket tomorrow.

Totally agree. I see so many football lads down Grace Road, especially on a Friday night.

Pant doesn't play in t20s and bumrah rarely plays now - its pretty much full strength.

It's not that old of a squad is it?
