Behave now, if this was Stokes and Root closing in on a ton they would 100% still be out there.

If there’s overs left in the day they have every right to play on to reach a special milestone

To be fair i’m pretty sure Stokes has always been against personal milestones, especially ones like this.

Doesn’t mean others will be though, especially when there’s little else to play for.

I adore the man but Stokes ain’t half a whingebag when things dont go his way 🤣

Yeah I misread it, soz.

Celebrating not losing. Maybe they should all go home miserable like some on here. Celebration police out in force...

They should all go home and stick their England tops in the wash ready for the next test 😂

Well done on your sample of 5.

Been a good series overall but think there's some emotional opinions on the result or performance right now.

Genuinely been some decent discussions throughout the last few weeks but guess that was only lasting for a short time.

Usually good debate or chat but some can't help themselves.

I reckon I could find about another 50 million to be honest.

Such bad form from Stokes, especially as he delayed declaring for his own personal milestone.

Sundar and Jadeja earned the right to try to get their centuries. England players would have done exactly the same if they were in the same position.

Yep, Indian batsmen have every right to get their hundreds. Not a great look from Stokes really. Trying to look honourable in declaring the match a draw but knows exactly what he's doing.

Yeah, the more ridiculous the sledging and posturing from the England fielders became the more I wanted them to not just get to 100 each, I wanted them to bat the allotted overs tbh lol

But you didn't get over the line in 2? You lost. This is a draw where you can't win the series and your fans are celebrating like you've won the series.

Brings back a lot of memories re: the last series v India when the verdict was that comeback victory in the final test by England was overcelebrated

Which Ravi Shastri tried to claim earlier this series they'd won that 2-1 after the series got abandoned with him infecting everyone with covid.

Given they take 70% of global revenue and think they should have more our lads doing quite well to stick with them......their lot got paid about 10x whatever our players get financially.

Why do some of the England fans on here act like they wouldn't have acted or celebrated the same in India if they rescued a result to stay in the series? Especially if two of their batsmen were going to get tons?

Ridiculous hypocrisy and double standards...

Trying to imagine how I’d feel to draw a game to then potentially draw a series. I suppose glad we’ve not lost but not exactly excited over a draw.

Think it's partly the manner the draw was achieved, and it clearly shows given how rattled some of the eng players got.

And from the position we were in at the start of the innings.

I mean, people were moaning that we declined to shake hands with players in their 90s, getting a century against a part-time bowler as if India choose the bowlers they face (!) and that England draw very rarely.

Yeah from the position you were in it’s a great result and I think it’s only fair to let both players get their 100.

I think the annoyance comes from the position we had you in that first over and with the time left we had to get the game won.

If it was the other way around I wouldn’t have fancied us to bat it out. We’d have tried to win it somehow and gave you an easy win.

I don’t think any England fans would’ve acted the same.

Come on, you know that.
