Yeah I will concede the fact that England play over 10 tests throughout the calendar year, which is a lot.

India need to grow some balls now

I wonder if we'll be saying similar when England are in Oz in the winter. We do tend to struggle down under, generally.

Hopefully will be competitive for once. They seem to be struggling abit with their batting line up, shame the same can’t be said for the bowlers lol

That would be fair if he didn't spend his last years in an england shirt getting caught out at mid wicket to Peter Siddle.

As a youth, David Gower and I.T. Botham were my England cricketing hero's.

During the last 40 years England have had some decent players but nobody has really made my balls twitch like those two did.

Until Ben Stokes. I love everything about him (apart from being a Kiwi :D)

What a talent and what a leader. We'll miss him hugely when he's gone.

But in all seriousness, he's one of the greats.

Absolute hammering for us.

Will probably be the same at the Oval. The team appear to be mentally shot and perhaps losing how we did at Lords has been the catalyst for that.

Gill has a lot to learn as captain, but he has time. Better captains and players than him have had similar starts or resounding defeats and recovered.

Not sure in Gambhir as coach, though.

Gambhir seems a very very odd bloke tbh. Average player too.
