Brilliant from Lewis, wasn't sure he'd make it past given how good RB was in middle sector. Think he needed this emotionaly too to make it a fight for the rest of the season as he seemed a bit disheartened after Mexico.

Can't really comment much on the whole race today as the cameras were focused on the front (rightly so). Didn't get to see much of the midfield fight.

 

Lando recovered well but it looks like Ferrari are going to get that 3rd spot now

Having thought about the incident again, Hamilton had gotten his car ahead going into the braking zone. 

 

If Red Bull's argument is that Max couldn't stop the car from understeering off the track, then he must have braked so late that he entered the corner too fast, and logically he has to give the place to Hamilton as he's gained an advantage by going in too deep and off track. 

 

If they say that isn't the case and he braked early enough to make the corner, then logic dictates he could have gone through it without going off the track, and should have had a penalty. 

 

They can't have it both ways.

I don't understand the lack of a penalty, I thought the FIA would have asked Max to hand the position to Lewis.

Horner thinks otherwise.  He is the focal point for what is so dislikeable about the whole Red Bull setup.  His defence of the move was laughable when questioned.

Max has driven cars off the road all his career, he seems to always get away with it… he went practically straight on the corner to push Lewis off, it was clear to anyone. It is the same move I use on racing games to get in front lol
