Jon the Hat Posted 26 June 2021 Posted 26 June 2021 Boris looks a tit for not sacking him, so I can only assume there is a reason we don’t know about why Hancock lasted so long, and this was a way of ousting him without triggering whatever that reason is.
Bellend Sebastian Posted 26 June 2021 Posted 26 June 2021 Remember when he pretended to cry with happiness about the vaccine on Good Morning Britain? Feels like a lifetime ago

In fact, still very much creepy and slimey. No apology, no remorse, no regret. It was all rehashed media-talk. It was as if someone had written the apology for him and he was just memorising it. There's no emotion in him and no real feeling of realising what he has done not only looks terrible, but should feel terrible. Let alone for the rest of the country but for his wife and kids. And then to use those kids as some kind of excuse to ask for privacy in the matter was quite low, too. It was very weak. Weak actions from a very weak and abnormal individual. 3
Popular Post foxile5 Posted 27 June 2021 Popular Post Posted 27 June 2021 The resignation letter and reply are ****ing hideous. Not a shred of awareness from either and you'd be forgiven for thinking he'd stood down a hero. These people are ****ing dreadful 8
Facecloth Posted 27 June 2021 Posted 27 June 2021 (edited) You know @Jon the Hat those contracts the government were supposedly using procurement teams for, not just sorting out their own mates with deals Edited 27 June 2021 by Facecloth 2

Corky Posted 27 June 2021 Posted 27 June 2021 Very glad he's gone. His affair doesn't bother me- it's for him and his family. But he set the rules, lectured everyone on them then broke them. He had to go and how he wasn't sacked is another mark against the people in charge. Read the room, as the saying goes.

yorkie1999 Posted 27 June 2021 Posted 27 June 2021 I do find it a bit odd having a bit of slap and tickle straight in front of a security camera.
