Not saying every detail is accurate more that it would match our total so broadly right.

Im really enjoying people wanting to believe one set of numbers that's wholly inaccurate vs another set of number that are slightly inaccurate.

Fofana was on nothing at ASSE so might not be on that much.

How much was Choudhury on before he signed his supposed 60k a week contract?

Fofana was chased by Milan, Choudhury by nobody IIRC. Why did Choudhury have the club over a barrel and Fofana didn't?

....those figures if true are outrageous.....if they are available to the individual players then there would be chaos, if true!!!

Praet earning £50k a week more than Youri is a joke, Harvey Barnes on £10k a week, the mind boggles.

There's always been a fair bit of interest in choudhury despite many not rating him on here. The England set up really like him.

Shall we just all agree that we don't know how much our players earn?

Those kind of figures, for any player, make me feel a little sickened though.

Jadon Sancho has a contract worth about 50 million!!!. Our players are on peanuts.

Why are you so obsessed with salaries! And wrong about them! I broke down hamzas 4 year contract @circa £8750 p/w.

Anyone thinking hamzas on £60k p/w needs their head screwing on. It also doesn't matter about the total wage bill and means averages to try to figure it out that way either.

If Hamza is on 60k p/w then the cleaners are on £10k p/w.

And will be getting one for sure this Summer. I'm sure Leicester will be looking for 5 years.

.....if those figures are correct, Youri's agent and Rudders deserve 5 years...behind bars!!!

Luke Thomas figure higher than Barnes...........what am I seeing??

I don't care.

You're asking me to believe that Choudhury had the leverage to get £60k a week from academy type wages and Fofana couldn't get that much despite signing for near £30m. Choudhury even at his peak here has never been a first team regular, what you are saying makes zero sense and you must even think yourself that what you are saying doesn't add up.

The reason I do this is some posters think we can sell on our squad players at will when our high salaries make that difficult. Man Utd are in an even worse situation , they have many players on 100 grand a week or more.

He's 23 in September but the main difference between Choudhury and KDH apart from the one year in age is Choudhury has levelled out ability wise whereas KDH could still be anything as he is on an upward trajectory. They could end up being similar in levels in three years time but Luton fans raved about KDH last season and thought he'd play for England. KDH is worth persevering with for at least a season to see if he can hold his own against our other three top class CM's in Ndidi, Tielemans and Soumare.

for me it’s difficult to say he’s leveled out as he hasn’t ever had a full season of first team football.

I don't because I know its true. And I don't really care if you don't believe it.

19 year old kid with no French international caps at any level vs a 23 Yr old who represented England at youth levels and had some massive clubs interested in him. You can see how they could argue it. Does it make sense now, probably not, did it a year ago yes.

The reason I keep mentioning it is because so many posters get unbelievably triggered by any of our fringe players earning decent wages. We pay very decent wages as a club, it's how we've managed to accumulate such talent particularly amongst younger players.

What massive clubs were interested in Choudhury?

Choudhury signed his latest contract as a 21yo with 17 first team appearances under his belt in the last two seasons.

Fofana despite only being 19yo signed for £30m with Milan also interested.

Short memories some people , a while ago a fair number of posters were saying Hamza should be considered for England. Football agents will use every lever at their disposal to get their clients better contracts , of course they do because they get a percentage.

I still don't believe this. We dropped him for a long period last year. I cannot see how that would come into force.

It's evidently rubbish, not only was he dropped but Rodgers said he wouldn't be considered again until he improved.

Why you do it is not the issue it`s the fact that you have no idea what the players are paid, why just go inventing figures ?
