Chelsea result knackered the confidence?

...that Chelsea result was something I have been expecting and the fact that we had not previously been put to the sword was a big positive!!!

You cannot sit and watch us play in that game and expect to get away with the poor quality we displayed. I was hoping our progressing up the league would have had a much more positive effect on the team, put we looked like the team that came up from the Championship at the start of the season.

Sophie Howard has been doing a great job in defence and the two mistakes came about from my favourite player(Plumptre) who seemed to have had a nightmare yesterday. Howard would have been in the position to receive the ball in defence (she tends to sit a bit deeper) and she is much better there than Plumptre. Sooner or later Plumptre will  have to take up a midfield position,  where her talents are better used, she is strong, can tackle, good ball skills and moves the ball quickly as she can spot other players runs, she is not good in the defence. A sort of female Nacho, too much time to think does not help her.

I am Still not sure how our #8 Molly Pike get to start every game, she is weak in the middle, easily pushed off the ball and does not influence how we play, while playing in a role that is supposed to influence how we play.

This League is just a clone of the men's league just waiting for Liverpool to get promoted.

Can't see me maintaining any interest.

This Chelsea team press really well. I missed the previous thrashing we got from them the other week.
