Vital win today, should have had it wrapped up long before birmingham scored but the situation we’re in and against this team means any victory was needed. Would be good If we could get ourselves ahead of everton and villa.

We could have scored 6 but didn't so I'm not convinced we would have won if they'd had 11on the pitch.

Exactly, when watching the scores on SSN you could still expect an equaliser  even with only 10 players with 5 mins to go. Need to be more efficient in front of goal when our chances occur.

They make you sweat a bit.

Where are these games been aired? I feel like its always a job and half to even find highlights never mind the live coverage.

There should always be a stream, Optus who show all PL games over here also show all WSL games too.

Seven Foxes Selected For International Duty
A number of LCFC Women players will be playing for their respective countries over the next international break.
- Ashleigh Plumptre is in line to make her Nigeria debut in AFCON qualifying this month
- Sophie Howard (Scotland) and Esther Morgan (Wales) could face off in the Pinatar Cup
- Foxes duo Shannon O’Brien and Molly Pike are in England’s U23s squad to play France
- Missy Goodwin and Freya Gregory have been selected for the Development Phase Squad

Centre-back Ashleigh Plumptre could make her competitive debut for Nigeria after being named in the Super Falcons’ squad for their 2022 Africa Women Cup of Nations Qualifiers against Ivory Coast this month.

The pair will compete in a two-legged double header, starting in Nigeria on Friday 18 February (3pm kick-off), before facing off again five days later in a 4pm kick-off. The winners will qualify for the 2022 Africa Women Cup of Nations.

Scotland’s Sophie Howard is also on international duty this month, taking part in the 2022 Pinatar Cup. The Foxes defender is part of a 26-player squad selected for the eight-team competition by manager Pedro Martinez Losa.

Molly Pike
Molly Pike helped England Under-23s to record an 11-0 victory over Estonia last year.

The 10-day camp begins with a quarter-final fixture against Wales on Wednesday 16 February (2:30pm kick-off), where she could come up against new Leicester team-mate Esther Morgan, who has been named in the Red Dragons’ squad.

The 19-year-old will be hoping to earn her second cap after making her senior debut for the national team in April 2021.

The victors will meet the winners of Slovakia vs. Belgium on Saturday 19 February, with the two losing teams facing each other on the same day.

Both nations will also compete in a third fixture on Tuesday 22 February, with their opponents – either Russia, Poland, Republic or Ireland or Hungary, determined by results in the previous matches during the mini tournament.

Freya Gregory
Freya Gregory has played for England at several youth age groups, including the U16 Open Nordic Tournament in 2019.

Elsewhere, Shannon O’Brien has earned her first call-up to the England Under-23s squad for two fixtures against France. Molly Pike has also been selected in the 24-player squad by coach Mo Marley after playing twice for the Young Lionesses last autumn.

The pair are in contention to feature at Stade Pole de Normandie on Thursday 17 February and at Stade Louis Bielman on Sunday 20 February (2pm kick-offs).

England’s Development Phase Squad for the Marbella International tournament, meanwhile, includes another two Foxes – Missy Goodwin and Freya Gregory.

Gemma Davies’ Under-19s side will begin the tournament at Estadio Municipal Ciudad de La Línea, facing Finland on Thursday 17 February, ahead of tackling Denmark at Marbella Football Center five days later.

All times GMT.

...Flint looks like an old style target man where she has the skill strength and sense to bring other players in!!!

We need to have players prepared to play off her and Pike especially aware of the need to pick up the movements out wide.
