Does anyone know if the current lines of retro shirts are being run down with a view to delisting or whether there’ll be a restock of all sizes at the beginning of the season?

You’d genuinely be better off sending an email to the club.

Cheers, this was on the off chance a shop bod posts on here. Email was already sent :)

Slightly off topic just watched Get Shirty on ITV4. Its about Leicester Firm Admiral and how they started the Replica shirt revolution. Great insight and loads of City references including shirts, film clips etc. Well worth a watch.Maybe you will know some of the Leicester factory workers interviewed.

The answer is ‘yes, it will all be restocked”. Like anyone else cares 😆

Been wondering if the 1995 third shirt was going to be restocked so I’m happy with this

I was about to email them myself as well so thanks! Been trying to get a hold of the ‘84 home shirt

(Although thought I would check JD Sports as they sometimes restock on Leicester stuff, and they had one in my size! Problem solved lol)

I noticed loads of people wearing the 1986 shirt which is possibly the best shirt we've ever had in my opinion.

Does anyone know where you can get them from?

The originals are on eBay for about £250,  score draw did reprints, Google it and loads of results come up.

JD Sports are selling this one for £35 however there are a few discount codes for 20% off floating around which makes it £28.

I have this and for anyone thinking its a lovely top to wear if you don't want to be bothered... it is not!

It is impossible to go through a whole day wearing it without someone coming up to you and asking about it or telling you what a great shirt it was. :worship:

Wasn't that great we only won wearing it once and still lost on the night on pens.

Can anyone name the month / Year and opponents?

25th October 1983. Chelsea (A) W 2-0. A. Smith, English. (2-2 on aggregate, lost 4-3 on penalties).

It might not have been that great, but that means we still had more success in it than the white kit with the black & blue sash in my avatar, so its my next project for a subbuteo team!

I'm  pretty sure I listened to the commentary for that match on Radio Leicester!

Talking of the 1983-85 shirt, I saw a kid on the park on Saturday wearing an original home shirt. I could tell instantly as it was the original darker blue compared with the modern retro versions. His auntie had found it at a car boot sale!

No one that was there at the time would be seen dead in that.  Kiss of death.  If there was a hint of green in the warm up then it was all over before it started.  It had everything to do with the green kit and nothing to do with the fact that we were rubbish.

As worn by Tommy English, Ian Banks & Bob Hazell.

Funny it says we won 2-0 away at Chelsea in it.  No, we lost 4-3 on pens.  That's how bad it was!

God awful kit and anyone that wears it should be shunned until they repent.

It was a 2 legged affair... We'd lost 2-0 in the home leg.

My first game was watching us in the home version of the kit, so I can't claim to have been to away games at the time, but similarly to James Bond or Dr Who, the definitive version of something is the one you grew up with, so my earliest football memories are of that being our away kit...

So I stand by Roger Moore being a better Bond than Shaun Connery, Peter Davidson being the classic Dr Who and that being a great shirt.

I can live with being shunned. :ermm:

I remember the Mockery ran a back page campaign against it. Headline of Green Yellow Stop or something similar 🤣 - think in the end admiral hastily grabbed a red shirt off the shelf for us to wear for the end of the 84-85 season, basically the 1982 England away kit???
