First time in years I've bought anything in the ground.

Pre match Asked for Guinness...didnt have any. Asked for a Sausage roll didn't have any... Ended up getting 2 pints, 2 pies and a chocolate bar for me andy mate. £22! Won't be using them again.

How can you run out of stuff an hour before kick off?!

Havent bought anything from the ground in years. It’s too painful and very little options. I did however succumb to my sons request to get him a pick and mix from Odeon before the game. £4.90 for the small! What the actual fck!

They seem to have new staff every game via the agency. Can't they just get a regular pool of permanent workers that will do a good job? I know they'd need a contract but surely for the better service it'd be worth it.

People leaving before half time to get a pie or go for a pi55, pathetic, if you don’t stay for the half time ramblings of the legend that is the birch then sorry but you’re a plastic!

Not sure why they don’t have more food vans outside the gates in the smoking area. Pretty sure there’s one outside the family stand pre match that moves to behind the Kop at HT, but there’s room for loads more along the East and West stands.

eating a pie pre match or half time. I mean it’s such an odd time to eat, just have lunch before the game like a sane person.

Exactly, eat before and eat after a 3pm kick off, enjoy the game lol

Flapped it today, had a late breakfast and ended up having to have something to eat before the match in the ground, £16 for a couple pies and drinks (not even beers!)!

Food prices seem to have risen again. £5.30 for a dry frankfurter type hot dog in a stale roll. Absolute daylight robbery.

Yeah it’s a joke but tbf it’s not lcfc it is the caterers that they sub out to.

Went to 1884 bar before the match. Looked like all new staff being trained on the job, one of whom struggled to open a bottle of pepsi with a bottle opener

Went down at half time, stood in queue for 10 minutes which didn't move anywhere and gave up

Mate it £1.40 for a melted twirl.

The club don’t control the catering in the ground due to a contract we signed with Compass years ago afaik

It must be a rock solid contract as I’m surprised they have never been gotten rid off

Long gone are the days when you could get a decent pie at a reasonable price. I take my own fodder an eat in the car prior to entering the stadium. The Club's loss I'm afraid but I can't afford their prices.

This is really the only gripe I have against the Club.

Be tight like me and take your own half time snack!

Like others have said why the need for a full on pie fest just a couple of hours after lunch.

No wonder we have so many fatties in this country!!!!
